FIRST AID
In accordance with the Health and
Safety (First Aid) Regulations, provision is made for
emergency treatment within the Company. Training for an
adequate number of First Aiders and First Aid appointed
persons has been provided by the Company. Those appointed
will be re-qualified every three years. First Aid boxes
are located in every location around the Group and the
names of the First Aiders in your location will be displayed.
Company collection/delivery vehicles will be provided
with First Aid Boxes.
If you would like to become a First
Aider at your location and undertake the appropriate training
you should notify your Manager or the Human Resources
department at Head Office. The administration for First
Aiders within the Group is maintained by Human Resources
at Head Office and copies of First Aid Certificates will
be kept on the individual’s personnel file.
All accidents should be noted in
the relevant workplace First Aid Accident book.
