COURT ATTENDANCE

If on any occasion you are served with a summons to attend Court, either as a witness or a defendant, you must notify your Manager of the date and reason for your summons, as soon as possible.

If you are bringing a claim in any court of law, e.g. County Court, High Court, Tribunal etc., (i.e. you are the claimant/Applicant/Plaintiff), or if you are defending a claim, i.e. your are a defendant, you will normally be required to use your holiday entitlement to cover your attendance at court. If your holiday entitlement is exhausted, you will have to request unpaid leave.
