Dear Team Member,

TEAM MEMBER PARKING AT TROWBRIDGE, MANAGING OUR SPACE & HELPING EVERYTHING TO FLOW

Slowly, things are returning to some semblance of normality following the pandemic.

The “return to normality” is manifesting itself in greater volume of customer vehicle orders arriving onsite (some ordered more than a year ago) and the subsequent part exchanges this generates, as well as the “current” Sales customers visiting us.

In terms of Aftersales, there is a considerable backlog in some departments as the “Covid catch-up” is worked through, and Parts deliveries continue apace. There are also higher than usual numbers of customer cars being stored awaiting back- ordered parts.

In order to ensure we are using our limited space for its’ intended purpose, we need every Team Member to do the following;

  • That all Team Members use the Staff Car Park at all times except those driving demonstrators that are about to be demonstrated to a customer (exceptions can be made for Team Members with mobility issues – please talk to your Brand Director about this).

  • This will assist our vital customer base in having a great experience visiting us, which starts the moment they arrive onsite. We don’t want customers to turn around and drive away if they can’t find a space, or score us poorly on a Customer Satisfaction Survey because parking was difficult.
  • That any Team Members charging Electric vehicles remove them from the charging station when sufficient charge has been reached to allow others to do the same, including for demonstrations. Also, please do not use any charging station parking slot as just a “general car park”.
  • That everyone adheres to a “one employee, one parked car” policy.
  • Also, in order to preserve the surface of the car park and to prevent bigger potholes forming, we request that everyone drives as slowly as possible in this area in order to prevent it getting worse.

Please share this message with your departmental teams, including those who don’t have company emails.

By doing these things, we will help the smooth running of the site.

Thank you for your assistance with this.

With best regards,

Jeremy, Martyn, Paul & Michael
