THE IT DEPARTMENT & THE FRANCHISES, SUPPLIERS & PROVIDERS

With our management systems and those of each manufacturer becoming ever more complex and intertwined, it’s vitally important in terms of functionality and security that our IT Department remains fully informed and aware of any bulletins, communications and directives from each franchise and other suppliers/providers that relate to changes and upgrades to systems, connections, changes of setup/settings (sometimes requiring our input), new ways of doing things and so on.

We are all aware that it doesn’t take much for a system to not function properly unless the correct settings and integrations are applied. We’re also very aware that maintaining the security of our systems and networks is more important than it’s ever been due to the increased sophistication of scammers, fraudsters and hackers who are attacking businesses such as ours on a daily basis.  

Therefore can each member of the management team do their best to ensure that the IT Department receives all information that may be relevant to the running/security of the groups systems originating from the franchises IT departments, and from our system providers and suppliers.

If in doubt, send it to the IT Department anyway.
