Subject: Using the IT Support Logging System

It has been reported recently that some staff are still phoning the IT Department to report IT problems rather than logging the problem on our dedicated system.

Please ensure that all staff use the IT Support Request process and Logging System which is available on the company intranet Platinum Info Central.

By using this system, it allows all IT related requests within the group to be electronically logged, stored and managed by the IT team in an improved and more efficient way.

In order for this to work in an optimal way, we require that staff use this system in all instances (except in circumstances where the internet itself is down, in which case a phone call to the IT Department Helpdesk on 01225 756107 will suffice).

Please log onto Platinum Info Central (visiting the IT Support page) to access this system and share this memo with all staff as appropriate.

Also, please ensure staff use the Kerridge Online Logging System to report problems rather than logging them via telephone.
