Subject: Fake Call

Hi All,

One of our staff members took a call this morning from someone pretending to be from our network providers, they were asked to run a speed test and then asked to open a file in order to clear out malware.

Luckily they did not do this and told the caller that we had in house IT and they reported this to us.

If you do take one of these calls, please do not carry out any actions and make us aware that this has happened.
